Brooke McCree

About Brooke
Brooke McCree (she/her) is a bold, passionate performer originally from Orlando, FL. At UCLA, she has performed in several department and student projects including Lucy in Bright Star and Sherrie in Rock of Ages. Beyond performing, Brooke is a member of YOUTHphonics A Cappella, a student organization that volunteers to bring arts education to local high schools. She is also the Artistic Director for Bimbos Theater Co., a student theater club that highlights women’s stories, and made her directorial debut with 9 to 5: the Musical. Brooke made her playwriting debut at Bruin Fringe Fest with Bobby’s Ear Worm, a satire that explores the modern American political landscape. As an actor, writer and director, she hopes to create work that promotes empathy and invites audiences to question the systems that shape the world around them.
