About Edwin
Edwin Zha (he/him) is an Asian-American, bilingual, triple-threat performer who grew up in Miami, Florida and Nanjing, China. He is a passionate actor for the stage and the screen, becoming a proud member of SAG-AFTRA in 2025.
In the on-screen world, Edwin has acted in 2 feature films, 25+ short films (many in festival selections), 3 commercials, and 2 music videos since moving to LA. He can be spotted in supporting roles in the upcoming feature films: Better Life, produced by Randall Park, and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence, opposite comedian-actor Dan Bakkedahl.
On stage, he’s performed in the TFT mainstage musical Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812 and as a lead role in the mainstage play The Time of Your Life. Other theater credits include Bright Star, The Seagull, as well as 5 processes of new play/musical development. Edwin is also a diehard lover of classical texts and has performed in 4 Shakespeare plays throughout his educational years: As You Like It, Twelfth Night, Julius Caesar, and Coriolanus.
Edwin will make his regional debut this summer playing Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum. He dedicates his life to the exhilarating craft of performing.
