Hana Aiba

About Hana
Hana Aiba (she/her) spent her childhood growing up in the vibrant hub of San Francisco alongside summers in her mother’s rural hometown in Omaezaki, Japan. In her recent stagework at UCLA, Hana co-directed with Keara Hedican and starred in Dry Land as Amy at the Pacific Resident Theater, and starred as Pearl in The C Word, which premiered at the Hollywood and Edinburgh Fringe. On screen, she has appeared in short films Nervewrecker Productions’ Thirsty Thursday and American Film Institute’s Girl Girl Girl. Hana’s mission is to live and perform with authenticity — to hand the world a key to every room and to embrace perfect imperfection, portraying people as they deserve to be seen: exactly as they are.
