About Keara

Keara Hedican spent her childhood playing pretend as if she was both a Jedi Master and a Hogwarts student, but really found her love of performing on stage through her training as a competitive hula dancer. A proud AAPI artist originally from the Bay Area, Keara is committed to always being a student of life, looking to highlight empathy and human connection in her work. She starred as Ester in Dry Land at Pacific Resident Theatre this fall with her peer, Hana Aiba, which they produced and directed themselves. She also starred as Nora in Bruin Bard’s production of A Doll’s House, and discovered one of her favorite roles playing Nina in her Chekhov class’s production of The Seagull. She starred in many short films during her time at UCLA, playing leads in the films Properly Exposed, Growth, and Memora. Keara believes in the healing power of art and storytelling, and is dedicated to growing curiosity and empathy in the world.
