Maitei Emmie

Maitei Emmie (she/her) is a Los Angeles–based actor with a heart tuned to the quiet truths of storytelling and the wild, daring places where growth unfolds. At UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television, she appeared in Lisbela and the Prisoner and served as an understudy in productions including SuperAmerica and Fairview. On screen, she appeared in the DKA short film The Stars in Your Eyes, further expanding her exploration of intimate, character-driven storytelling. Across stage and screen, Maitei gravitates toward stories that ask something of us, stories that challenge, stir, and awaken. Beyond performing, she has begun creating and sharing her own original work on YouTube, with the goal of developing larger, self-driven projects that fully express her creative voice. Maitei strives to create art that reaches inward, nudging communities toward the bravery of self-reflection and the risk of emotional honesty. She believes in making hard, tender, and necessary conversations feel not only possible, but essential.
