About Sam

Sam Jones (they/them) is a passionate and playful actor, vocalist, musician, native to Los Angeles (proud Valley girl)! They were infected by the theatre bug in 4th grade when playing Jojo in Suessical. Favorite UCLA credits include playing Sara in Stop Kiss, Mary in new work Virginia + Mary, and is soon to be playing seven distinct characters in Caryl Churchill’s Mad Forest: A Play from Romania. Other highlighted credits are Autolycus in Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale and Morticia in The Addams Family. Sam has appeared in multiple short films, sang/music directed/arranged for Awaken A Cappella, and is co-captain of Identity Crisis Improv troupe! An Arts Education minor, they vow to be a life-long student and facilitate empathy as a teaching artist. Sam’s goal as an artist is to create and champion works that make people feel truly seen and represented in their unique human experiences.
