About Ella

Ella Greene (any pronouns) is a senior Acting Emphasis student at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television, graduating in 2026. Originally from Austin, Texas, she has appeared in productions including The Effect, Bright Half Life, and Chosen, and has worked on workshops for new musicals such as Chosen, Broken Phone, and The Golden Record. Ella also enjoys storytelling from behind the scenes—she programmed lights for the opera The Grand Hotel Tartarus and the play SuperAmerica. Passionate about stage combat and digging into what makes characters tick, she loves exploring the emotions that drive us. Her mission is to breathe life into the motivations that make us human, using performance to awaken empathy and remind people they are seen, understood, and never alone.
