About Thomas

Thomas J. Foster (he/him), born in Seattle, is an actor, organizer, and mover—but at his core, an artist. He discovered theater as a child, performing with ACT Theater (Seattle), Book-It Repertory, and the UW School of Drama before studying at UCLA. In his recent work, he has starred as Clay in DUTCHMAN and Silber in TELL ME I'M GORGEOUS AT THE END OF THE WORLD. Offstage, Thomas continues to broaden his artistic perspective through dance, performing in Los Angeles' underground ballroom scene as a member of the House of Balenciaga. He shines while competing in Butch Queen Vogue Femme, showcasing not only the elements but also the art of Vogue. He seeks to create work that honors the humanity of marginalized communities, especially stories of and by Black queer communities worldwide, because, through this storytelling, we can reflect on true, lived histories while manifesting new futures.
